Jacob Hough is from Ravenna, Ohio, but has been in the Columbus area for over ten years. With over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry Jacob has realized a lifelong dream of opening his own place. Chef Jacob left his position as the executive chef of Barcelona restaurant and Bar in German Village after nearly a ten year run. He loves all aspects of the industry and will continue to push the high standard of food and service he is known for. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, Jacob has had stints at the Bexeley Monk, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse and work at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fl. Jacob is excited to meet the community and experience all Worthington has to offer.

Patrick Marker

OWNER

Patrick was most recently at Barcelona restaurant and Bar in German Village. Born and raised in Worthington, Ohio Patrick is a graduate of Kilbourne HS. After high school he set out to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University Charleston campus. He was formerly the executive chef at Charley’s Crab in Hilton Head Island SC. He has two years of cooking around the highly regarded city of Charleston, South Carolina, and lived in the Low Country region for ten years. Patrick has varied experience in the restaurant business as he has worked in many food service operations from high volume catering to ethnic restaurants and bars. After having navigating the pandemic the past few years at Alqueria he is excited to grow the business and return home to the community where he was raised and now where he is raising his family.

Stephanie Ekegren

MANAGER

Stephanie Ekegren brings over a decade of restaurant management experience to the culture at Subourbon. Stephanie has managed in bistros, fine dining, and private club restaurants to give her diverse perspecties to the various challenges and opportunities in this industry.

Stephanie Manages the front of the house and maximizes her guest's experience. Her role is to ensure customers feel welcome, enjoy their meal, and most importatnly feel connected to the Subourbon family.
